Vision of Karma Lab's membership community.
We are building a customer-centric experience in the web3 era. We believe that innovations in a marketplace will enhance the consumer experience and make the act of purchasing not just a buy-and-take behavior but an opportunity to buy while also accumulating brand loyalty and experience.
We are moving from a standard membership system in the web2 era in which customers can only interact with shop owners a the membership community in the web3 era where customers can not only interact with merchants but also other customers. Finally, we believe the marketplace experience would be a community composed of multiple entities.
The properties of a membership community are
- 1.Ownership: Memberships are derived from contributions to a merchant. The member token is wholly owned by the customer in a decentralized manner independent of the merchant.
- 2.Transferrable Value: Since member tokens are owned by the customer, they can be transferred or traded to other customers.
- 3.Customer-centric: Members are not restricted to specific merchants but are instead part of a customer-centric network, connected to everyone else in the community.
